It's not favouring admins in giving awards. If the admins are on first place with the according awards, they are getting the award. You can use the order and query position to tweak it.

Cannot confirm that. Check configuration of the referral award.

I pressed uninstall the mod first (In the products area), it said I need to upload the uninstall file VIA FTP. I pressed back and the product was gone. I then uploaded the uninstall file and completed the uninstallation. I deleted all vBExperience files from the FTP.

And now I get the error.

You will have to put awards to the misc/level folder and name it like award_IDENTIFICATOR.gif - that IDENTIFICATOR must correspond to the setting in the award. Create an award and take a look where the Image URL leads you to: There must be the image.

Import the addon as an product XML. It just adds calculation for vBExperience about the games you are playing.

You need to edit the xperience_gfx template and remove the part about the second bar. Or you will wait for 3.8.3 where I added an option for it.

That is because to retain tables for an upgrade. Image, you have a shop with many items and you do an upgrade via uninstall/install - all items would be gone.

Your custom style directory is usually the style name like for example darkvb/, images/, styles/ etc. Put the level/ folder into each of the style's misc/ folder.

2. On xperience.php?go=awards, the user avatar size scales to a larger size. For example, the original size of an avatar is 80x60 but it displays scaled to 107x80 for some reason. I tried on both avatar storage types. This does not seem to be happening on your demo link though.
Also, I think a <br /> would look good after award description to leave some descent space between the text and the avatar within the fieldset.

3. When I Add a new Award, an award is created immediately and added to the list. It would be much better if the award is created/saved only after we click Save button on Edit Award page. Same thing happens with Manage Shop and Manage Custom Points.

4. On what basis are the awards automatically given? It seems to be favoring admins. I did a Recount twice.

5. I understand the issue that the award images would display linked besides rich username text in postbit, but then how are user_online/offline.gif images display fine.

6. Is there a way to see a detailed list of points of a user as I am surprised to see few user's points even after recounting twice or thrice. This would be a nice feature.
For example, for a specific user, it shows "Points for User: 148". Can I see some kind of details/breakup as to how he earned 148 points.

7. If "Only Active Users" is opted, the pagination does not display correct results in Ranking (xperience.php). It still takes all users into account, thus making all other sub-pages (page2,3,4) display empty results. The pagination should also adjust itself according to the number of active users.

It does NOT add any global query, beside the profile. It stores it's info in the user table, which is cached at the beginning.

Right, I'm using a fixed height to avoid bad looking page. See template "xperience_awards_awardbit". Just remove the height="80" from it

It favours people with the most points of the fields an award has. If in your case this users are admins, then you need to use the query position and also the award limitation.

5. I understand the issue that the award images would display linked besides rich username text in postbit, but then how are user_online/offline.gif images display fine.
on/off is builtin, awards are not and must be "hooked" somewhere. It would require to touch original PHP files or at least templates.

6. Is there a way to see a detailed list of points of a user as I am surprised to see few user's points even after recounting twice or thrice. This would be a nice feature.
For example, for a specific user, it shows "Points for User: 148". Can I see some kind of details/breakup as to how he earned 148 points.
Of course, check Statistics.

7. If "Only Active Users" is opted, the pagination does not display correct results in Ranking (xperience.php). It still takes all users into account, thus making all other sub-pages (page2,3,4) display empty results. The pagination should also adjust itself according to the number of active users.
Will be fixed in next version.

This seems to depend on the browser. With IE I got a space between description and avatar. Check for yourself with the IE. Will do a work around for all browsers.

You need to define 2 types of shop items: small and big one. The smaller one should not be larger than 16x16, otherwise they are too big for postbit.

Use the Custom Points, there you can enter negative points. There is no other automatism to do this.

You can use the addon system of vBExperience called CDP Custom Data Provider to do such a hack. Ask maybe the author of gXboxLive.

Custom Data Provider :) You can do in the hooks whatever you like, as they are evaulated as PHP code.

I thought that users could post sales, and I see that it is not possible.

So I tried to uninstall it by following the instructions and got these problems:

1.- If I try to uninstall from product manager I can not run the command. I have to go back and upload and run the script: kill_xperience.php.
2.- Then, after, I go to Manage Products and I try to uninstall it and I get the error: Invalid product especified.
3.- Then I delete all the files uploaded by ftp and the vbexperience seems to be uninstalled, but when a user try to post, I have received this error:

Group A has 8 members.
4 members have 100 points and 4 members have 50:
Total 600.
Divided by 8= 75 Points total

This way you could see which groups are the most active on your forum :)

My forum is also unable to give gifts. It says that it can't find the username, but when I am typing the name up in the box, the username appears. So it found it, but then tells me it's not found when I click submit or whatever.

Install a higher level. You're likely on level 1.

No, you cannot assign custom images to categories. But you could edit the category template and do an conditional with an img tag.

Yes. Create an item in the shop with that image. Users can buy the item, it is then displayed below the ranks (if enabled)

Yes. It must be a custom assigned award.
Calculations for awards can also be automated via CDP (Plugin Interface)

You need to have the template hooks in your postbit template. Check in the original vBulletin templates.

1. Copy ALL (I mean ALL - That is a common error!) files from upload_via_ftp/ to the server. Espacially take care of the images, copy them to your style misc folder if you use a customized style.
2. ReImport product_vbexperience383.xml, allow overwrite
3. If you modified any of the vBExperience templates, revert them
4. Run Maintenance Tools/Recount

Same problem here.
To fix it simply create the missing column in xperience_awards by phpmyadmin.
It's just a temporary solution before an official fix for that ^^

I tested this on several boards with the same effect, it worked. Really, I don't understand why it does not work for yours.
First upload the files, then the XML.

For your fix: Go and uninstall the XML, up all files to the server and then install the XML.

I have now removed the part that is causing this error, will insert it for next version. Awardurl is not available then.

Please download the ZIP again and update the file includes/functions_xperience.php

Most of them. But you can upload the modified functions_xperience.php that don't require awardurl and also no reinstall.
