no Marius isn't fixed :( i try to explain better: i've installed the beta 3 without any trouble, all the templates are OK, BUT i saw that i haven't the awards generated, so i go to my ACP and i generated the awards, AFTER THIS i returned into my index, et voil?, the template returned uncached ... :)

just installed this mod a few days ago... all work correctly... the setup is ok...but when the vB assign the awards ( the default awards) when i click to the link "see all awards" it comes out this error:

i tried to reinstall all products, change level, rewrite php... but every time when the awards are n't assigned...all is correct... after the recount and the assign of awards... error....

I'm using vBulletin 3.7.0 RC2 and vBExperience 3.7.11 Beta 3 and I have no red/uncached templates. Not on awards, not on ranking, not on postbit. So I cannot confirm this behaviour on your board. I have to take a look to your site - please give me permissions again.

Thanks for this release. I have installed it in the live environment. The installation went smootly, no problems to report on that side. Taking into account the Blog activity is a good addition to this mods.

Here is one feedback:
I have been toying around further, and I noticed that new awards created, Silver & Bronze, do not show up either in the Award page or in the "vBExperience Ranking" page. :( Only Gold Awards are displayed. I have ensured that all graphics are included with the syntax: award_IDENTIFICATOR.gif, where IDENTIFICATOR has been replaced accordingly (e.g. activitysilver, activitybronze, communitysilver, communitybronze, etc...).

Probably a small lapse in the source code???

here's my feedback:

i created a new award called activity silver (description 'test') i settled the 'limits' and 'display' to '1' ... into 'identificator' field i put activity_silver.png (the name of the file which i uploaded onto my FTP) but i don't see the award, the only thing which i saw is the box in the awards page (i mean the page with the avatars) ... BUT if i change the name of the image file like activity_silver (without the extension .png) the box of the 'silver medalist" disappears ...

Why an issue? It's stated in the description:

It should take the default no-avatar gif.

This is something I cannot confirm. You have to set the award's display to 0 and generate awards.

How come almost all of my users have 0% activity. Its set to default 21 days.

Whenever I run the maintenance on this mod I get to about 4000 count on it and then I get an error from my SQL server stating that I have overdone my sql query limits that are set at like 100000 or something. I would like to know if there is any way possible that I can either split the maintenance into two parts or slow it down so that I do not run into this error. It is unable to complete the maintenance and was unable to even complete its run the first time thru. More importantly than just not getting everyone/everything included it takes down my vB for a few mins while it resets and I can sql query access again. I have spoken with my hoster and there is no possible way to get more queries added on. I am currently running at the Level 2 with about 6300 users with an avg of 360 active per day. Would changing to the higher level correct this or just make it worse? Any thoughts thanks and sorry for the rambling.

The option to reward members that use the reputation system (i.e. rate both positive and negative)
The functionality to identify the member with most experience in a specific forum? It would be awesome to easily identify the main members of a specific forum.
The option to reward members that report bad posts to staff.

Total amount of experience points received in a calendar month. IMO reputation should be an important factor, but any admin can set this for him / her self.

I cannot handle support for arcade. vBExperience is using template hooks. If arcade does not - not my fault.

Yes, in it's current version only postings are counted towards the activity. It is planned to span that over all monitored xperiences, but this will come in the next major version.

If your database host has limited the queries than there is no other possibility than starting counter manually. Keep in mind that you need to recount only at the first time!
Starting manually you should take this URL:

Replace RESTARTAT with f.e. 1000, so it calculates all users from userid 1000.

There you have defined "xperience_points", "xperience_level" and "usergroupid". By reaching defined xperience_points the user get's xperience_level, and if defined the user is changeing to new usergroup.

I do not understand what you mean with 'if you defined a user for reports'. Do you mean if the admin has excluded users or usergroups from the stats? Please explain.

You have to change "RESTARTAT", not "pp"
With "pp=" you can define "per page". Lower this to f.e. 100
You can begin with "startat" and cancel the process. As vBExperience writes all data per user, you can cancel the maintainance at every time.

Hi great mod I have installed this on my site and thought was very great adn easy install. But I dont have the blue bar when looking at posts and the images dont show up in the profile. It shows up in the rest of the site ok?

You have to change "RESTARTAT", not "pp"
With "pp=" you can define "per page". Lower this to f.e. 100
You can begin with "startat" and cancel the process. As vBExperience writes all data per user, you can cancel the maintainance at every time.

They are in the level product defined. If you have Excel, you can edit them with a "GUI", otherwise you'll have to modify the XML. A real GUI for that will come with the next major version.

It seems that the field "avatarrevision" is missing. I will implement this in 3.7.12

When I check the "All Awards" page there is also only one awards displayed but more are entered in the admincp

- Awards: Fixed a bug with custom avatar's revision (url cutted after "_")
- Awards: Fixed a bug with apostrophes in name/title/description
- Awards: Limit corrected to 0 on existing Awards (only if they are four Awards)
- Experience: Design change, now displaying all xperience with a value <> 0. This makes identify incorrect sum's from disabled xperience's.

but it didn't work.
You will have to create 3 Awards for that.

First Award Gold:

Identificator: act_gold
Title: Activity GOLD
Limit the Award to a position in query: 0
Display Order: 1

Second Award Silver:

Don't modify max if you didn't changed the max level in a level product. Set this to 0, import Level 5/6/whatever, and do a recount.

did that, but I dont' think I communicated what I was trying to do.
I don't want it listed separately for each award.

I wanted the award listed ONCE (so no avatar) for gold, and the user ids for silver and bronse LISTED below gold (so no avatars).... all in the same award box.

I do not know, really. What I think is that it's not the users, but the post number. The experience is calculated using post number, thread number, thread views etc

The level product you have to import is required, all level 0 - 100 are calculated based on this. Activity is independent of this.

I was wondering if there is a small bug in the calculation for thread replies. I have a total of 5172 posts. I set 1 point per thread reply and I've got an amount of 7608 points.

Edit: Also, I installed the latest vbExperience on vB 3.6.9 and 3 days ago upgraded to 3.7.0. Maybe related to the problem..?

Points for thread replies means points for replies your threads are getting. Related to postings there is the setting points for posts.

Yes, you can manually assign awards to multiple users. AdminCP/vBExperience/Manage Awards.

Try to set them to a fixed size or try another location for the bars. Both settings are in AdminCP/Settings/vBExperience

Yeah, you can't upload the XML without having the files on the server; it'll completely mess it up. Just upload all the correct files and you should be fine.

Here are the steps that I did so far.

1. Unzip the contents of the download.
2. Upload the contents of the Upload folder to the server.
3. Import the product "product_vbexperience3711.xml"
4. Received fatal error message.

The board is completely down and I can't get to the admin panel.
Can you tell me what file I need to edit (if any) on the server?

First of all, I want to sincerely express my gratitude for your assistance. I have imported multiple products and perhaps was simply trying to do things to quickly at this point.

I just imported the folders inside of the Upload folder one at a time and,,,,,,, I'm back : )

Perhaps I was just getting too confident and not taking the proper steps.

We all take our boards very seriously and I probably wasn't thinking too clearly the moment I saw the fatal error message.

0 is supposed to show the 1st query and by design and as instructed, surely 1 should show the 2nd query and so on, yet no matter what number is put into the limit box, it always shows the same user, i.e. the user pulled with the 1st query, which I guess has to be a bug, surely...

Kinda kills the awards part of this hack for me totally if i can't use that bit, as by default as webmaster of my site, I come first for virtually everything and it's not going to be much fun for the community if they are never going to be able to get an award because the admin is always going to have them all.

Love the hack, but dearly need the awards sorting out a bit for the hack to be of use to me.

Edit: Actually, after further inspection, it does actually appear that the awards are handed out to the right people on the ranking page, it appears to be just the awards page itself that is displaying as described above.

I don't want to be rude, but all the statistics are all wrong. It either saves all the stickies & friends that has been made in total, or its just plain wrong.

Nothing is wrong. The collected data is multiplied with the points defined in AdminCP/Settings/vBExperience Points. Also I don't wanna be rude, but did you read the readme?
