Thanks Andrew. It seems to be rather random. In tests just now, it has done it once after about fifteen hands, once on the second one, and then again not at all after more than thirty.

I'm going to try it on your site now just to rule out it being anything on my site. Works fine in other browsers though.

For me, just the holdum game but I haven't heard any complaints since the last upgrade.

If the member is using IE, it just kind of freezes on them.

As far as I know it's just the one.

I've done some limited testing on your site and the same sort of thing occurs, except that after around ten seconds it does actually move itself on, whereas on my site it just sticks.

Works everywhere I've seen it and I haven't had anyone else mention that, so without a link I have no idea what's going wrong for you.

Stats: clear the table: "casino_bet_stats", weekly / monthly / annual resets will probably become a option at some point before the final release.,

Green cloth - Edit it out of the templates, search for "cloth.gif" in the templates and you will get all the entries that contain it. You will have to repeat after updates that require those templates to be reverted though. You could probably also just replace the image files with a blank (transparent) image file to sneak around that.

The payouts in the charts are actually MULTIPLES....so if the payout is 3, it pays 3 X whatever you bet.

One Bug: In "Texas Hold 'em" when one of the Players Wins the Game, the System Logs Out one of the Players from the Game and shows the "Waiting" image and the Message "zzz has left the game"!! :( :confused:

Other Little Bug: Happened to me Once Today after Installing the Update, in "Slots - Fruit Machine", the Slots didn't Stopped turning and Browser got Stocked in the Game (perhaps a code line that didn't found the end and stocked in an infinite circle)!! :( :confused:

One request for this game would be showing the user how much they have bet on each spin and how much won. Since there are so many different ways to place a bet on roulette, it's easy enough to lose track and having to do the math each time a spin has concluded to determine how much won, if anything, is a bit detracting from this fine add-on.

Yes, I don't think the casino_copyright template got updated in the product.

As an easy fix just edit that template to change the public version number, but remember you'll need to revert it come the next upgrade.

Delete the field from your user table through phpmyadmin, as well as any casino_* tables. Then import the product.

You do not need to remove the old product file to upgrade, all that does is wipe your stats, scores and everything clean, just import the new product file and check off the allow overwrite box.

That's odd, providing everything goes through properly it does two laps then slows and lands on the 3rd. What browser and is your server under heavy load?

Im using FF and the other member was using IE7.
No problems with the server, everything else including the other casino games seem to be running nicely.

When I played earlier it must have down around 9 laps of the wheel.

Point on improving roulette: it is a great addition to place "something (like in casinos)" on the number that has been picked randomly once the spinning is done, and prints down somewhere how much the player has won in that round. Plus, in all the roulette games, there is a display which shows all the previous numbers, that would be a great addition too.

Great work so far, keep it up! I will donate my share to the project once I fully integrate it to my forum. I am still working on the templates to make it look more like a casino, but have been following your great progress closely.

This product is in Beta Stage as highlighted at the top of the forum. Products in Beta stage mean they may have have bugs and its not recommeneded to install on a live board.

Why didnt you wait until the final version was released instead of installing beta on your live board?

I installed this first time, just like many others on here did. Just becasue it didnt install first time for you would suggest you didnt follow something correctly- Not very nice tarring the mod when its installed fine for everyone.

Wow! Really? I've been installing and upgrading from the very first versions, I've never had a problem, I mean there are things that work or don't work sometimes, but I've never had a problem with install. Thing is, everyone's set up is different and the problems arise that are setup specific, that's how things get fixed, so deal with the fact that this is Beta, its FREE and that Andrew is doing the best he can to fix issues as they are found.

I left it open to all over the weekend and apart from some glitches (especially the texas) everything went fine. I restricted the texas to 6 seats and downed the reload to 1000.
People played but complained a lot about freezing and odd glitches.

By tuesday I had to restrict casino access to about 50 members as it was taking a hammering.

The poker is the main thing that needs work - i fill the tables no problem but thats where the trouble begins!

It's a great mod and i'm looking forward to developments/fixes.

The biggest problem here i think is people dont under stand BETA

and even when this product is 100% there will be people complaining about something

This MOD is still in BETA stage, which means there will be bugs that the coder continues to clean up through the help of everyone else's testing of the MOD. Andrew answers to all bugs that are found and he updates the MOD frequently. This is an awesome MOD and the final product should be even better.

Well, I never claimed it was done. the version is listed at 0.70, and I'd say about 70% done is right.

This is also a free product, and is not my job. I work full time, teach evening classes, have a girlfriend, etc. This is a small piece of my time, and to be perfeclty honest works quite well. 405 installs and over 50% of the votes for MOTM this month. Not bad for a release that is less then 2 months old.

Now this is free, it gets maybe 5-10 hours programming a week, that's all I got for it. Releasing as a Beta through development gives me hundreds of hours of testing across hundreds of boards by thousands of users. Bugs get fixed much faster this way and I can spend time adding new things rather then spending all my time testing.

But hey, 400 installs, if everyone wants to put $10 / month I'd consider doing this flltime. But for now, suck it up princess.

Hey, regarding the roulette table, a few members have said that the payout on the roulette isn't working properly.

Here is the post he sent to me, I hope maybe it can shed some light and that this issue hasn't been brought up already.

Roulette didnt pay out on the Black 6. It gave me that weird decimal # again. It did give me back what I bet, but didnt pay out. I had 10 inbetween 6-7 which would pay me 5 -35 on the 6. and I had 500 on black which would have paid $1000. then I had 175 on the first 12 which would have paid 3-1. It gave me back the money I had on the table as the winning bet and put .1857 something. I guess it didn't add it to my winnings as full money, but as a decimal point. It took all the losing cash and didnt pay winnings once again. I think it was black 6 yesterday that it did that on too.

Any ideas?

I use the thread rating/creating and posting bonus as a carrot to get people posting. Every now and again have a bonus day giving out lots of $s. The last time I did it we broke our highest posts and threads in a day ever lol. They soon blow that away and want another. As we have a section where anything goes it gives them something to do for a bit too. It has created an e-conomy with female members selling provocative pics :D for casino money which I found kinda funny. The options are endless tbh.

Not really, for most games it's not even possible without "rigging" the game, which is something I definitely don't want to do.

Yeah, that was a day of math...

Basically that is what happens, although the percentages are different, and set up to payout about 100% overtime regardless of the numbers plugged in. However the percentages are set up with less number choices in mind, so a 6 number draw would pay very little for 3 & 4 hits. Which I think would annoy folks, as mentioned above, people like to win. If the lottery goes a year with no winners, chances are it would have no players either.

Yes, I'm undecided on whether I am calling it a bug yet or not though :D

You can manually change it in the plugin, but can't use the phrase in the plugin as that "group" isn't loaded outside the casino. I will probably end up moving it to the global group at some point though, and fixing that. But for now just edit the template. It will say something like "$$cash", just change the first dollar sign.

Also would it be possible to create a football ticket where one could lets say add all nfl games and members select a team for each game, the tickets are sold lets say for 10 dollars and all the money is put in one pot. Whom ever selects the most team that won will get the total jackpot?

Another request (which is surely an indication of the enthusiasm with which you hack is being adopted) : is it possible to give people cash when they post to their blogs in the official vBulletin blog please? I really want to encourage the blog element of the site and this is one nice way to do so.
Also in some games, I think it would be useful to have a 'Leave table' type button or link (in Blackjack for example) so make it a little clearer for folks who miss the nav breadcrumb.

Well, I never claimed it was done. the version is listed at 0.70, and I'd say about 70% done is right.

This is also a free product, and is not my job. I work full time, teach evening classes, have a girlfriend, etc. This is a small piece of my time, and to be perfeclty honest works quite well. 405 installs and over 50% of the votes for MOTM this month. This is a 20" flatpanel viewsonic in 1280 x 1024...... small windows.

My roulette wheel looks just like the pic you posted ***** when I first openit up..... ballis slightly off set like that.

But if the window is to the right side and I place a bet.... the bet will not be on the number I clicked.... the bet will be placed far to the left..... example; if the window is all the way to the right so I can choose the bet amount chip...... and I place that bet on Black... it will instead place the bet on Even.
If you center the window the bet will be placed on Red, instead of Black.
BUT when the window is all the way to the left it will place the bet where I click.

does that make sense?

I tried uninstalling myself, so that I could reset the casino values - I told my members to play with it and added a ton of money each day, but wanted to reset it all ---

I went remove all the files and then to re-install as well and get the exact same error:
Duplicate column name 'casino_cash'

I went into MySQL's, but it didn't have a casino_cash --- I did drop all the other casino tables I saw though and tried the re-install - still no luck.

casino_cash isn't a database table, it's a column within the USER table....have a look in there, it MUST still exist. Delete it from there and then try to reinstall.

I think this is a fantastic mod and my users love it. The only problem I have is my forum which has a fixed width of 760 doesnt display the roulette table properly. Is there any way to make the roulette table smaller?

Think something is up with the roulette. Had 250 chips on the 1,2,3,4,7,9, and 12 I think. This took me down to about 22k. I press spin, lands on 0. I've suddenly got about 85k?? Didn't manage a screenshot because I stupidly immediately went to the casino bit to check if I really had that much. I can't be arsed doing the calculations, but I think it might have paid out each bet as a winner?

we where running version .51 and have upgraded to .71 I reverted all the templates uploaded all the files and have upgraded but we are getting random db errors especially when pressing stats which consistantly gives a db error, and texas holdem doesnt show anyone else in so if two people are playing they dont see each other. Yeah, I am using IE (as most my users are using) and I applied this edit and now it is worse... The left corner is corrected, but the right one is off drastically and the piece between must be in cyber space somewhere... lol.

Also, since I updated to .71, when I play roulette... I click on a chip... no matter what number I select, it places the chip in the 2 to 1 slot. This didn't happen until I updated... something has changed and ruined the roulette fer me... :( It was working great until this update.

Lastly, and so berry important... is there a way to turn of the donations, or perhaps limit the amount. I see no settings. The reason is I have some hardcore users with amount in the hundred thousands... and they have either close friends or multiple accounts... and they place high bets in vbookie football games on both teams to get a sure win. So I restrict the amount to donate/transfer... but with the feature in casino, they are by passing my restriction... please help me correct this... Oh! I am using vbcredits 1.4RC1...

After last update, many things dont work anymore in IE, only in firefox.
No Texas Hold em, and Roulette isnt working (no fishes on table and buggy) and a lot of images aint working, they are called jpg instead of png.
Maybe also test on IE? :)

I have been running the cron after every draw manually but now that wont work.

Will post a fix in 4-5 hours (5:30-6:00pm Central time) when I get home. Got this and the roulette in IE issues sorted, just need to put the fixes into the main version and export it again.

Read back through this thread. This fix has been discussed several times. You have to drop the column 'casino_cash' and then you can upgrade. I would hold off though- Andrew is posting a patched version later today.

0.72 texas hold em is not working at all I have 10 people ready to play and they are all in different screens by them self
after a few secs it kicks you out and say to start game
why not have where you can set a default room and once full people have to wait or have a option for different rooms and user can join certain room.
either way this has some bugs that need fixing

Like I said, Sounds to me like one of the files did not get overwritten (or) the product did not get re-imported (with overwrite ON) (or) you have a template that needs to be reverted.

We have all asked those questions numerous times in this thread. Those are things that may be rolled into a stable release version.

As said many times before, this mod is still in beta stage. If you've installed it despite the warning in the original post, then consider yourself a beta tester until the full version is released.

I would like to see those who moan and groan about the bugs, anti-up and support the developer so the product can be improved.

I would love to see beta testers read the entire thread for answers to their problems prior to posting the same errors over and over- errors that have been discussed and fixes have been published.

This is the very first of it's kind. A mutiplayer vb game. It is something to be excited about.

I have been unable to duplicate this on my board. Mine is awarding the correct cash.

Have you tried uploading the files again and reimporting the product? (allow overwrite) That seems to be a common fix for these types of issues.

The best way is uninstall product. and then reuploading all files to your forum, reimporting the product. If you do it all like readme file, i think everything will work ok.

We haven't really had much use for the pool bet yet but the gambling crew are excited by it's potential. If Sportspool admin Usergroups could attach sports pools to threads like a poll or if a thread could be automatically posted to a selected forum then I'd be hugely popular I'm sure.

That's strange, the file that counts on this is slots_ajax.php, if nothing in it has changed then that's likely not it. WOuld you be able to send me a link to your site?
