Mysql error
What is this error:
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (61) Sysops are on vacation, is there any method for me to fix this? |

Check if mysqld is running.
If not, (re)start it. |

How can i do that? I don't have access to that serverlevel. It's dramatic because all hits generate a mysql error and i have no idea when the sysop(s) will be back.
Can i force a mysql restart as a cliënt? Even if i have to make delibirate a crash to enforce that, it's welcome. |

If you don't have root access via SSH, or at least some Frontend (Webmin, etc.) to (re)start mySQL or reboot the Server you're out of luck.
