Using forum options on website (RSS??)
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=113699
I tweaked the external.php file, with an addition that external.php can also read .php files, zo external.php?type=php And I am using MagpieRSS, to display the external.php?type=rss2 on my website, but I ran into this problem; (1) I cannot change the maximum amount of characters displayed (1a) If this can be done, without MagpieRSS, please let me know Besides that, I am still searching for a way to include the following things into my website; (1) The number of users online. (See attachment 1) (2) The name of the newest user. (See attachment 2) (3) Today's Event Also, I wanted to know if it's possible, to let people sign-up as a member of the forums, without visiting the forum, so *I think* I need to include the signup-files into my website, in some way. Can this be done? Please help me out. |

I'm not familar with external.php's features, what exactly are you trying to do on your forums that is RSS-based?
Also, could you post those two attachments (if they'll help) in this thread. |

What I want to do, is getting the information out of ONLINE.php with the External.php?type=php option.
But I don't know how I can do this. And which 'tags' I should read in etc. |
