Using forum options on website (RSS??)

I tweaked the external.php file, with an addition that external.php can also read .php files, zo external.php?type=php

And I am using MagpieRSS, to display the external.php?type=rss2 on my website, but I ran into this problem;

(1) I cannot change the maximum amount of characters displayed
(1a) If this can be done, without MagpieRSS, please let me know

Besides that, I am still searching for a way to include the following things into my website;

(1) The number of users online. (See attachment 1)
(2) The name of the newest user. (See attachment 2)
(3) Today's Event

Also, I wanted to know if it's possible, to let people sign-up as a member of the forums, without visiting the forum, so *I think* I need to include the signup-files into my website, in some way. Can this be done?

Please help me out.

I'm not familar with external.php's features, what exactly are you trying to do on your forums that is RSS-based?

Also, could you post those two attachments (if they'll help) in this thread.

What I want to do, is getting the information out of ONLINE.php with the External.php?type=php option.
But I don't know how I can do this. And which 'tags' I should read in etc.

Anyone can help me out with this?
