I am looking for a hack the adds more power to searching the forums. As it is right now, when you search for a word or phrase, the results display just fine, but all they link to is the first page of the thread. What if there are 50+ pages (like you find on vbulletin.org)??

With vb3, you can now link to individual posts inside the thread. What I would like to see is a way to make the search results use links tot he EXACT POST that matches what the search results are.

Ideas?

Hmm ... that's standard behaviour on my board?
Just tick Show results as posts.

Doh!! Nevermind. I never use the advanced search options. That is why I never saw it.
