Searching the forums
I am looking for a hack the adds more power to searching the forums. As it is right now, when you search for a word or phrase, the results display just fine, but all they link to is the first page of the thread. What if there are 50+ pages (like you find on vbulletin.org)??
With vb3, you can now link to individual posts inside the thread. What I would like to see is a way to make the search results use links tot he EXACT POST that matches what the search results are. Ideas? |
Hmm ... that's standard behaviour on my board?
Just tick Show results as posts. |
Doh!! Nevermind. I never use the advanced search options. That is why I never saw it.
