php in templates?

why can't php be used the templates? and how do you go about getting around that?

Because of how the template system works, and you dont ^^

you can use the phpinclude_Start and end templates to include php coding.

Or you can hardcode it into the files.

Any reason? vBulletin 3 is highly optmized for larger boards, runs smoother and has tons and tons of standard features that vB2 didnt have, and 99% of them can be turned off
