Dr Title
I was just wondering if i take some kind of degree at university for computer science. How do i get the title Doctor.
So on my cheques i'll have Dr. Clatworthy  ?- miSt

Doctorate programs range from 4 - 7 years (at least here in America), and that's after the 5 - 6 years you'll first spend getting your masters.
 I'm going for a masters in Computer Science, but I don't know about Ph.D

Medicial Practicioner is 3/4 years here, it's fabulous. Of course if you have the right prerequisites chosen and all, it's alot shorter then other countries. A profession I am considering.
So in conclusion, move to Australia.

Here in canada, if you become a family physician sort of doctor, you make close to 750k a year by opening a practise...so thats how they pay it off
Sure if you get a phd in computer sciences, you will have a better job, meaning better pay, just invest like 1000$ per month, which will be nothing compared to your overall salary for few years then it is paid off.

Dean - Your student loan is only going to be about ?3,000 - ?4,000 per year - You don't have to start paying it back until you are earning over a specific wage, which I think is ?15,000 a year... Even then, you determine how much you pay back...
Assuming you do get a job of ?100,000 a year, thats only ?40,000 you have to pay back - You determine the payments, and you can pay something like ?5,000 back per year Satan
