This would be most userful for navigating within a thread.
A post tree would be like a site map but just of all the posts in a thread, listed with a small bullet or box next to them. It would be listed like: Code:
Thread[list=1][*][*][*][*][/list=1] Code:
Thread[list=1][*]Neo[*]Razor[*]Neo[*]Razor[*]..[/list=1] Final: Code:
Thread: I need help![list=1][*]Velocd, 6.29.02[*]Velocd, 6.30.02[*]Velocd, 7.1.02[*]Velocd, 7.1.02[*]FireFly, 7.21.03 :dead: [/list=1] How does it work, well it could work in many ways, but I think the best would have the post tree appear in a popup window using javascript, or side frame, when clicking a link in the thread (the link would reside in showthread.php). |

I suppose you wouldn't really call this a tree actually, since it doesn't branch off. But, well, more of a list.

Yeah thats true, unless you add page numbers down at the bottom of this popup.
ie: Code:
[<][1][2][3][4][5][>] |
