As nice as all of the hacks have been I must say that the Welcome Panel hack has added the nicest touch to the board. Sure, it may not be as functional as the TBS (which I promptly added!) but it adds a much nicer experience for the end user and, let's face it, that's what the forum is designed for. Kudos.

I agree, the Welcome Panel is a very nice addition to any forum, and it's such a hit as well! I see it on almost every forum I visit.

I agree with firefly, .. and i am a happy user of the welcome panel hack

Very easy to install, only one file to edit, (and small edit it is) and the rest just trough templates. Very nice. Easy to tweak or adjust to ones liking.

The Welcome panel gets my vote
