As nice as all of the hacks have been I must say that the Welcome Panel hack has added the nicest touch to the board. Sure, it may not be as functional as the TBS (which I promptly added!) but it adds a much nicer experience for the end user and, let's face it, that's what the forum is designed for. Kudos.

I agree, the Welcome Panel is a very nice addition to any forum, and it's such a hit as well! I see it on almost every forum I visit. :)

I agree with firefly, .. and i am a happy user of the welcome panel hack :) Very easy to install, only one file to edit, (and small edit it is) and the rest just trough templates. Very nice. Easy to tweak or adjust to ones liking.
