i would like to add a facebook login button to my forum and i have made an application but i am not sure where to add the code. will this work with 3.8.6? could you help me please? thanks

There is an existing "Facebook Connect" mod, it has been out for some time.

Putting the login button somewhere isn't really an issue- anywhere in the navbar template with a conditional to show only to people not logged in is easy...
The hard part is to take the info provided by Facebook and create a new member based on it.' By "made an application" I assume you mean a facebook app, and have a facebook app id... Unfortunately this won't magically let users login and make them members. |
