forum manager > select forum to Edit > Prefix for Forum Status Images

You can read up on those in the manual or do a search here because it's been discussed quite a few times.

Upload the images you want to images/statusicon/ on your server.

Go to forum manager and assign with images/statusicon/picname.gif
