Ok, I got a new project and I need to clarify this:

Does the 'Dancing Banana' is Copyrighted!?!?!




Wikipedia says:

The Dancing Banana (a.k.a. Peanut Butter Jelly, or Humba the Banana) is a popular emoticon. By late 2001, the banana was already being used on several forums as a standard emoticon. Most of these forums would replace the typed text ":banana:" with the graphical image. That actual image? probably. I know countless of amount of people have made their own dancing emoticons (including myself) but some actually use the images and crop bits (and may be breaching copyright) whilst others construct theirs entirely from scratch.

why not use a flying dutchman instead of the banana?!

does the banana would give more credits to your site, or you can find something else?!

Does this guy created the banana or just animated?

With two people showing as the creators I'm guessing one designed whilst the other animated the image whilst both of them collaborating during this project.

Well the guy have a facebook profile, trying to contact him...
according to records, it's an AudioVisual work [animated]
but do they entirely created the banana or just took it from another place??? [very common these days...]

They may have done. again, I'm not entirely sure but if you have a contact, then chances are the author will be able to fill you in more.
