The Latest Version is 3.7.2 Patch Level 1 (PL1)
Resource: Vbulletin.com It's the choice of the owner of the forum whether they feel they wish to upgrade really. Some just stick to what they have because its less confusion etc. |

But doesnt that mean that there is more chances of getting hacked if they use a lower, out of date version?

1) Release announcements are posted at vBulletin Announcements first. You should disregard announcements anywhere else if they conflict with the ones listed on the vBulletin.com forum.
2) vb.org @ 3.7.0 |

It is always recommended to use the latest version of the software. However security flaws will always be patched in older versions.
You would probably be better off asking on vBulletin.com for a definite answer from the vB team. |
