The file config file is in the includes folder, and you would make sure the mysql username / password and database are set to the correct mysql details for the DB.
What type of hosting are you on? |

General Reseller.
I edited the database name to the correct one, and the mysql username and password to the login for my cPanel.. I can't remember if mysql user/pass is different from cPanel or not. If so, what is it? |

The MySQL username and password are based on what you set them. You can delete the username (make sure its not the DB) and re-create with a password you know. Or send me a PM, I'll do a quick fix for you.

I've never used IPB, but I love vBulletin. After 5 + years of using it, still finding new things I can do with it
