I checked my cpanel and there is a new database on my server with the name extension _frgn1. There is also a username with the same extension added to that database. I am fairly new to vbulletin, so I'm at a loss for where this came from.
Is this the work of a hacker, or would a mod I installed have created a database? I am the only admin., so how could this have been added?? The reason I checked my cpanel was because my site has been running slow, but most of the time the server load is under 2. any suggestions? |

You shouldn't be able to create databases if you are not an admin of either the site or the cpanel. Someone guessed your password?

The database is the root of your forum

How can you say that for certain?
If it was a *new* database, created after the vBulletin one was... ??? |

But, I think that is the question that Dismounted was answering. |

If it's a cPanel server.. were any new Scripts added?
I recall _adns1 (etc) on mine, after playing with Fantastico. |
