Provided you have the necessary licensing, is it technically possible to share a vb user database with multiple sites?
I have 3 domains that I would like to set up forums on and share the user datbase across all 3. This would allow visitors to anyone one of the forums from these sites to visit the other sister site and log on with their existing account. I would like to take this approach now rather than after starting and having to merge the user accounts db. xxx.com, yyy.com, zzz.com each with forums sharing one vb user db. Is it possible or is there a better way to go about this? Thanks. |

There are a few hacks out there right now pertaining to this - mainly they have to be on the same server - each have thier own licence and not have a database prefix.
