Cross-Listed Forums?

Ok, more about "Forum Linking".

I'm still thinking about this option - but the one draw back I'm having and I can't seem to resolve is this.

If I create a forum and link it to another forum - the forum I have created will always say it has zero post/views and the section about last post will be blank.

Is there a way to address this issue? If I can address this, I think I'd just use the forum linking option and see how it goes.

Can someone, anyone, please tell me if there is a way to have the most recent post data show up on the newly created and linked forum, or will it always be nada?
