I'd dig up all my emails and find records for your hack if that makes you happy. And I think you're a little overstating a few things and wrongly judging my coding profession in your previous post.

1. Attatchments was not in any part of this hack agreement. Please dig up your emails and check them over again.

2. I never asked my clients for advanced payment. My standard is to create a working hack, get them tested on my testboard and deliver once they sastify with it. Same go to your hack, I had you tested on my testboard prior to its delivery. If I remember correctly, I made you this Anonymous Posting hack some time in December, 2005. You wrote a couple emails saying there's bug in Quickreply. I couldn't reply immediately due to my final (exams) week, but I sent you an email and left messages on MSN for the work-around of the bug.

In my eyes and those of my client that you were doing work for, you simply "took the money and ran" when the hack got to hard to complete! We told you that day that we would gladly give you a hearty bonus on top of the amount that you wanted and all we wanted was a working hack - what I venture to say most paying clients would have wanted!
How would this be "took the money and ran" if you got my hack that I spent over 2 days working on? If I understand it correctly from the 1st post and your reply, you've distributed my hack without my prior consent. And I guess in business, in a hundred client, there's always one or two unhappy ones. With all due respect, I apologize for the "buggy" hack and any inconvience caused.

I am sure it doesn't make you feel any better if I was to say that I made the mistake of 'payment-in-advance' too--on elance.com.

I've spent way too much getting this hack developed for me.

I feel your pain. For me its not about money as I just try to be fair from a tip at a eatery or obtaining web companies on ebay.

Tim,

First off, I have no complaints about your coding it is clean and the job (minus the bugs) was one of the best hacks I have had produced that was custom and it moved very nicely. You asked for a specific price as we agreed that was under what we would have given you hourly, that why you would had a hearty bonus as well that would have been 400% over what you received as we agreed that you under bid your ownself. We were fully aware of finals but " we asked for superior communication on this project" and even after a few weeks it doesn't take much to return an email or return a phone message, I have a 800 number as well, so no cost would occur to your cellphone

You gave us full permission to release the hack if we wished and we even said you could as well. I even stated that to the vB.org team in a contact via thier form and also in the original thread. I just stated my facts and I can dig up the emails gladly if wished.

Of course attatchments were a large part as it was for a photograhy critique forum and would allow the users to upload a image via the vB attachment feature as an anon, user.

Now , believe this or not!

I do think you are ultra brite and have a great formula for flow that helps greatly in this field as your hack was not awkward to operate and far more superior than other public hacks of the same type.

I would fully even recommend your coding work to others, I just would hope that they would test for a few days before paying as again said the coding work was professional and clean as a whistle.

That's all I have to say and wish you the best on what endeavors you do have in the future.
