Force people not to use - as the first or last character of their username

The reason I asked is because I set my members profile links to be username.mysite.com and people with - at the beginning or at the end of their name profile links dont work

Please I hope someone can help me with that and I think it should have been the default for vbulletin.

Instead of username.yoursite.com why not just do www.yoursite.com/username?

I believe doing it that way would work for you.
