ya... got the phpbb2 importer last night from vbulletin.org.. haven't tried out yet...
long process for me cause current client has made it pain in da *** considerring he's started phpbb forum with access database so first gotta convert that to mysql, i think there's app there called access2mysql (anyone had ny experiences?), and then use the converted sql database to vb... lol... can't wait :P any thoughts on how you think the conversion process will go?
regardless, the license thing is kinda screwed up cause I owned one for long time, and recently sold it cause I wasn't having enuf time for doing aything on the forums and didn't want to put it to a waste, and thus let a good capable individual take over... regardless, he's now the owner and has promissed to get me files if need be for the forum which i'm still admin at for the work (summer and thus can test out some before i buy the new licenses for clients)
... hope that lot made sense... if not then just ignore
... bottom line, i depend on da foo I sold to, and recently I'ven't been able to get hold of him a lot, so gotta wait till I see him to get files from vbulletin.org
