I setup a new usergroup for those who wanted to be able to search that particular forum. By request I set them into that usergroup by changing them from Registered to the "Full Search" usergroup (or whatever name you want to give it).
However it might be easier to do it the other way around - setup a usergroup for those who don't want the view the posts of that specific forum in the search results. Which you do would depend on the number of members that want one or the other.
