search for backup over on the .com site. The command line way to do it is over there.

Ok guys I have another question. Luckely i found a backup from last month where the databse is only 200 and some megs.
What I old like to do is delete the attachments and search tables BEFORE I try to load the backup. How can I open the .sql file on my local windows pc and remove the attachments table? This alone is over 200 megs and should let me properly upload my backup. Any help is appreciated. Thanks |

ryan,
is the database compressed, or is it just the plain sql database backup ? if it's plain sql then it'll be in plain text format. if you cant figure a way to do this then as a fellow Disney board owner, if you dont mind me having your database, I can download it onto my home server delete what ever you want, Attachments, word, index etc and then upload it for you. If you want any help, either PM me or you can find me at my site in my profile. |
