I'd give you the link to my site, but since it's sign up to see I'll just provide links.

What the site looks like by default: http://puu.sh/1GsKi (Bad)

What the site looks like with the sidebar minimized: http://puu.sh/1GsL4 (Good)

Basically, I want it to look wider by default, but when you minimize it, it's still looks like this. My reason for this is because some users are getting this on their end:

http://puu.sh/1G6Te (as you can see, some of the text is going off the bars and such)
