Forum sidebar question

Hi. The main theme on my forum is fixed and with the sidebar, it's a little too skinny (I minimize it myself, but others are complaining that it's too skinny)

I was wondering if when you have the sidebar open, the whole page stretches, not just the forums next to it? That way if people want it on they don't have to deal with a super slim page, but those that don't can carry on?

Can we get a link to view what is going on?

I'd give you the link to my site, but since it's sign up to see I'll just provide links.

What the site looks like by default: http://puu.sh/1GsKi (Bad)

What the site looks like with the sidebar minimized: http://puu.sh/1GsL4 (Good)

Basically, I want it to look wider by default, but when you minimize it, it's still looks like this. My reason for this is because some users are getting this on their end:

http://puu.sh/1G6Te (as you can see, some of the text is going off the bars and such)

Sorry if that was extremely confusing, I can try explaining it again if you want.

So basically, as an example, you want the forum part to always stay at 800px and then the whole site width increase by the width of the sidebar (like to 1000px when the sidebar is on, but it would be 800px when then sidebar is collapsed)? There is no way to do that. The only thing I can think that you could do is have one style with the sidebar (extra wide) and then another style where you have edited the template and removed the sidebar (not so wide) and users would switch back and forth between styles if they want the sidebar on/off.

Hm okay, I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

What you can do is lower the font size for that to something lower:

You can add this to your additional.css

PHP Code:

.forumbit_nopost .forumhead .forumtitle, .forumbit_nopost .forumhead span, .forumbit_nopost .forumhead .collapse, .forumbit_post .forumhead h2 span {
font10px;
