Highlight all code in your unaltered navbar template, copy it and save it to a separate text document so you can preserve it in the case you need to revert. Then paste the code given here and view the results.

Then you can also "view history" and see exactly what changes were made. This also frees you up to experiment without fear of messing things up - since you can easily revert changes.
