How to change the Navbar
 
Hello,

I need to hide "Community" and "Quick Links" in the Navbar.

I would be very grateful if someone could give me a hint ...

Not sure if there is a easier way than modifying the navbar template for the style you want to do this on, so I will await better replies.

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Name of your Style -> Select "Edit Templates" from the dropdown menu.

Find "Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates", click on it... Then click on "navbar".

Select everything, and replace it with this:

Just to make things clearer: Could you please highlight the lines which you have changed.
I probably need to alter the navbar from time to time ...

Your code also still shows an Subpoint from the community link - "Groups".

Highlight all code in your unaltered navbar template, copy it and save it to a separate text document so you can preserve it in the case you need to revert. Then paste the code given here and view the results.

Then you can also "view history" and see exactly what changes were made. This also frees you up to experiment without fear of messing things up - since you can easily revert changes.
