+ 1 ... completely agree.. putting a few ad's respectably is one thing but annoying the hell out of your users with countless popups and ad's is just wrong.
Why do you think they got Ad Block in the first place, You are just alienating your users, making them mad and forcing them to find an alternate your site; now that's one thing you dont want to do. Dont be a Sad Panda, You are likely to get sexually harassed by al gore for doing that..
However if your ad's are done right and not overly annoying, then as the guy above me said "You have a quick explanation that the site is funded by people clicking on ads" - that would seem right...
