Preventing threads appearing on new posts
We have just created an RSS news feed and given it it's own subforum. What we would like to do is prevent these posts appearing on the New Posts section.
Is this possible ? |

Ah right I didnt realise that option did that, I just thought it's sole purpose was to prevent the thread from being searched.
Cool, thanks. --------------- Added [DATE]1249467383[/DATE] at [TIME]1249467383[/TIME] --------------- Does this take awhile to work ? It's just that I have created a new test post in this particular forum that I dont want to be shown on the new posts section and it is still being shown in the new posts, even with my test account. Is it a cron job ? |

Did you create a plug-in to do it? Because there's an easier way.
