I didn't read it anywhere. I seen it with my own eyes. A cab driver was telling me about it some months ago and said if you look out that window you'll notice that car doesn't have a tax disc and sure enough it didn't. Our new neighbours who recently bought a house (that's right bought a house) and had a top of the range landrover no tax disc (they just entered the uk). It amazes me that when they say it's a free society they meant it's a free society for the immigrants. I was dead set against joining the EU. Countries being accept into the eu that have struggling economies being allowed in putting extra load on the countries who are struggling already. Heck, we can't even help our own people yet we can offer perks to immigrants entering the uk while the elderly are struggling, the nhs is at breaking point (oh yeah, there are many cases of them abusing that system as well).
You tell me how an immigrant can enter the uk and get a mortgage for a 250 thousand pound house? doesn't have a tax disc and the previous tenants (good friends) lost this house because the slump we are now in.
why we would want 75% of our laws dictated by Europe because of pressure britain was put in for joining the eu I will never understand. It's one instance that I wish the conservative party were in office has they were always against joing the eu.
Free passports UK? Doesn't surprise me. Would surprise me if they got their own arse wiped as well.
