Default Britians Justice is way to soft

Briitans Justice is way to soft ................. Want to see why then read on ............

Jilted boyfriend in crowbar attack

A JILTED boyfriend launched a 'violent and unprovoked' crowbar attack on his ex-girlfriend and her friend with his new partner and her sister.

Jonathan Michael Pannett, 29, of Mallory Walk, Brooklands, admitted violent disorder and criminal damage and was jailed for 18 months.

Amy Copeland, 20, of Wythenshawe Road, Northern Moor, admitted violent disorder, criminal damage and assault.

Her sister Fay Copeland, 23, of the same address, admitted violent disorder and assault. Both received 12-month suspended sentences at Manchester crown court.

Crowbars

The two women victims, aged 22 and 21, were in a Toyota Corolla on Tunshill Road, Northern Moor, when they were forced to reverse into a cul-de-sac by an oncoming Land Rover driven by Pannett in March.

Amy Copeland was in the front and they were joined by Fay in a Renault Clio, the court heard.

Pannett and Amy Copeland - armed with crowbars - attacked the Toyota before the sisters violently attacked the two women inside.

Det Con Richard Lees said: "This was an extremely difficult case, compounded by the fact neither victim was willing to assist the investigation due to a genuine fear of reprisals.

"I think that fact alone speaks volumes about how threatened they felt and how dangerous all three defendants are.

"This incident also demonstrates that where a crime has been committed, and when a victim, for whatever reason, does not or cannot co-operate, we will do all we can to bring those responsible to justice."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now you thinking whats so bad about that,at least he got sent down, - well no,justice was not served here as the two women who attacked the other 2 girls simply got a 12 months suspended sentence. (Pannett and Amy Copeland - armed with crowbars - attacked the Toyota before the sisters violently attacked the two women inside)

Now all this was captured on CCTV - click here for the video : http://www.manchestereveningnews.co....id=29210548001
(Turn sound up) - then read the replies from others.

Yet a car driver charged with dangerous driving can face a driving ban ,a huge fine and court costs and up to 5 years in prison.........

Last month judges were told to give lighter sentences to drug dealers too

I dont think that is what is needed in this case but is it a wonder people have no faith in the justice system when they see cases like this and see people making a mockery of the law.

These girls should of served time - is no question about it as the guy got sent down for the crowbar attack yet these 2 attacked the girls in the car as well and walked away really scott free. What message has this sent out to others ?

You don't need me to tell you that I agreed with everything you say. The law is always mocked. Loopholes exploited, lawyers themselves serving an agenda to get their client the minimum punishment possible.

You rob a bank? you get 15 years. You steal money from the government in all it's formats 10+ years. Anything related to stealing money and your liable to get a hefty sentence (no problem with that). You take anothers life, rape a woman, abuse children and you are likely to get off lightly.

2006 a friend (more like a brother to me) Raymond Hayes was stabbed in the heart jumping infront of a known bastard protect the offenders girlfriend this guy arguing with his misses stabbed his girlfriend in the hand and plunged again with the knife at her but this time stabbing a friend i grew up with as a child and pleaded in court he was bullied as a kid. This guy bullied people as a youngster, never got bullied, and he got 4 years serving 2 probably done less with good behavior. He's got his whole life ahead of him now whilst the lawyers who got this moron off lightly have left a child without a dad and a family who never have recovered from this day.

My point. Hang them. Shoot them. A life for a life. I believe in that because the justice system in the world (not only the uk) will always be exploited by loopholes in the system and change is never likely to happen.

Not my normal usual one line replies but then I think you have to read into my one line replies and not take it as face value. Again, Hang them. problem solved and the money saved housaing these people can be used and pumped back in the community to the people of society that abide by the law and work hard all their lives which never happens.

sorry to hear about your friend shelley. And yes you are correct, the guy will be out soon to live his life and have a family and children, while your friend is long forgotten.
The goverment is partly to blame because they will not find the money to build new prisons yet on the other hand, they can find money to go around the world interfering in other peoples wars which have nothing to do with us in the 1st place.
We should be sorting our own problems out before we even think of policing the rest of the world.
Oh yeah while im at it - lets scrap the human rights act because if you notice, its only the criminals that actualy use this.

I agree, the humans right act is used by the criminals which accommodates them very well. Though, the human rights act is there to protect everyone and I'm sure it's served people without them even realizing it. It's simple, ship the murderers, pedophiles via a container and dump them in the middle of the Atlantic. Or via FedEx. On time, everytime.

Why do you think since we joined the EU we have been flooded by immigrants that want to take advantage of the British justice system? because it benefits them and they know it. Amongst other systems they find useful to keep one step ahead of the game.

Unrelated, did you know someone entering the uk can drive a car without a tax disc for a year (it might be 6 months). whilst the british people need to fund this shit that these people drain from the economy. We are a soft touch, always have been always will be.

Change is all about agenda and whenever a government (party are elected) there only agenda is to stay in office and make false promises and give false hopes to the gullible. Knife crime has risen, unemployment down, immigrants entering the uk up. It's an ever increasing vicious circle that will spiral long after we are 6 feet under and passed on to the next generation and the generation after that.

I dunno, I prefer to come out with my one line replies. My fingers hurt, lasto I'm going to sue you.

Lasto,

Did you know, that they are putting up the price of a UK passport to ?77 shortly, so if your in a family of 4 or 5 that could be quite an expensive Holiday. So basically its costing ?77 for a "Travel Document"

They have also decided to scrap the idea of ID cards especially since spending ?164 million, and deciding that everyone would have to pay ?500 for their cards, Another complete waste of money, and all for "Security" reasons. Oh i suppose the imigrants would get theirs Free??

If they want to make the UK Safe and Secure they want to stop giving shelter to terrorist, and kick them out.

That is unless your one of the 220,000 imigrants that got one for free last year

Sometime i think i might be better off going to france for the day and chucking my passport in the channel and then coming back as an illegal

if your Honest, Work hard in the UK you get Ripped off big time
