I'd like to upload some large .pdf files to my cPanel file folder and link to these so that forum members may view them with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
I am still a novice with vBulletin. I searched here for "pdf" with no results. Does anyone know how to do this? I'd like to use something like this: [pdf]http://xxxxxx.org/forums/pdfs/The Marines In Vietnam.pdf[/pdf] Thanks PS: Please disregard, it's easy to just post the url and embed it in an Adobe logo. That's easier than messing with the BBCode. |

As Powlo Says, Its So Easy, If you find that the attachments are too big, just edit the attachments section in the admin CP
I use this all the time for my Business PDF files, works a treat ![]() |

That was extremely easy, just created a folder in cPanel, uploaded them, and linked to them.
Wonder whether there is an option to allow members to download some, while protecting others. I have some for which the publisher has granted permission to display, but there is still a copyright, so I'd like to be able to keep those from being downloaded. Others are declassified government publications that are not copyrighted and my members should be able to download - that would decrease the amount of data moving out of cPanel and maybe save me money too. Thanks |
