Adobe pdf files

I'd like to upload some large .pdf files to my cPanel file folder and link to these so that forum members may view them with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

I am still a novice with vBulletin. I searched here for "pdf" with no results.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I'd like to use something like this:

[pdf]http://xxxxxx.org/forums/pdfs/The Marines In Vietnam.pdf[/pdf]

Thanks

PS: Please disregard, it's easy to just post the url and embed it in an Adobe logo. That's easier than messing with the BBCode.

Why dont you upload them via 'Attachments'?

As Powlo Says, Its So Easy, If you find that the attachments are too big, just edit the attachments section in the admin CP

I use this all the time for my Business PDF files, works a treat :D

That was extremely easy, just created a folder in cPanel, uploaded them, and linked to them.

Wonder whether there is an option to allow members to download some, while protecting others. I have some for which the publisher has granted permission to display, but there is still a copyright, so I'd like to be able to keep those from being downloaded. Others are declassified government publications that are not copyrighted and my members should be able to download - that would decrease the amount of data moving out of cPanel and maybe save me money too.

Thanks
