Private forums
Hi Guys.
I have vb integrated with phpfox and i want a separate thread that only admins can access. I have tried making one private but non admins can still access it, so it appears. How do i do this? cheers steve |

A separate thread or a separate forum (your title says forum, your post says thread). You may create a forum which only admins can access. You need to set the permissions in Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions > Find the forum > Deny All > then set the correct permissions for the admin usergroup

What makes you think members can still see it? If you hit Deny All and then only allow Admins, then only users who are a member of the Admins group (either as a primary or secondary user) can see it. Did you test this out with a test account? Maybe a mod you have installed is interferring with your permissions.
