Nice style, albeit one that reminds me a lot of Admin Fusion, partly thanks to the similar name, banner, side block and features on the site. Looks very professional, with the minor thing that the orange looks a bit too in your face for my liking. No dead forums, which is good, and activity looks okay, albeit a bit low for the member count you have. Like the facilities there, like the Forum Matrix thing, and the articles section in my opinion is actually better designed than Admin Fusion or The Admin Zone (which have one massive section for articles and no real categorisation).
I don't like the idea of hiding the FAQ from non registered members, because it's kinda stopping them knowing much about your forum until they actually register. In all other aspects, it looks rather nice, and certain maintains the professional look that's expected of an Administrator help forum. |

Thanks a lot. I have noted your points for when I return from holiday.
The activity is not great for the number of members, because, as I mentioned, the forum was neglected for a while. But now the activity is picking up a lot. Thanks about the Article Section. It is custom coded with a few mods in, and I have more plans to design it another step up. I will also get the FAQ stuff sorted. |

Don't know about Admin Fusion; sounds to me like its in the past and done with and thus irrelevant here. But here's a few pointers on this particular project:
- The blue cat head font is too dark and needs to stand out more. You have "Forum Rules" in lime green but the rest of the significant links in dull colors. - The gray bg (inner tables/alt colors) is too dark and the shade of gray doesn't jive with the beige headers or orange elements. What I would suggest is significantly lightening any gray surface that contains text. Doesn't have to be white, just a lighter gray but a plain gray, not one with red or blue in it. - Titles are in a different font from the main text and by the look of it, in a different size. - The menu font as well. The menu should probably have some mouseover effects or something along those lines to draw attention to buttons. Cheers |

Thanks for the extra feedback. I will be back in the UK next week, so can start work again.
The articles section will hopefully have larger areas for topic titles, with graphics. There will be other small features added and things which cannot be disclosed at this time :P And TMXS, thanks for the feedback, I will note it all down. |

Personally, it looks like you've left the body open. Maybe I'm missing something, but you have navigational links around the top of the board that looks a little out of place.
I like the colors, I know some people are pretty nit-picky about them but they have been used tastefully in my opinion. I'm not sure about the vB experiences placement, nor its size, and the image ranks are a little too big. I like the horizontal postbit, however its looking a little funny when people dont have avatars, which also goes back to the vb experience. Other then that, the whole things looking pretty good, I might sign up and post a bit if I get some spare time. Do you have a style I could use to access the board via my cell/mobile? I know vBulletin has a nasty habbit of not loading for my phone ![]() |
