Installation

1. Upload the file in the upload folder to your forums directory.
2. Import the product using the product manager (enable "Allow Overwrite").
   AdminCP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product

Sorry, I was searching for such a mod, but I really couldn't find it (and I still can't find it with the search function, even when searching through the titles only).

One little difference: there's also an opt-in link in my hack, so you can also use it to opt-in for newsletters and other stuff. I also want to create some more direct links to other options in the future (see the future plans), so it will become more different than your mod

Can this be modded for Non-Members to be able to sign up for newsletters?

It looks like this hack changes a setting in the UserCP, wheres non-members don't have a UserCP

I love it!!! I see it as a nice way for emails + announcements to let people easily turn a feature on/off.

Then just don't use this option for opt-out if you aren't sending out a members-only email.
