It would help to post the db error msg with full details, that way we can better help you.

I peeked and this is something server side:

mysql_pconnect() [<a href='function.mysql-pconnect'>function.mysql-pconnect</a>]: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

You need a mysql upgrade.

You can try to use phpmyadmin and reset your password, try updating the privledges and also try to flush the privledges, if not you will need a upgrade as there is a mis match some place.

Most likely the msqlclient lib file is mis matched with the mysql version installed
