Another database error
Okay i have searched the forums for this problem but got all different answers regarding to something they did. My forums was up and running for months and out of the blue i get this error: Database error The database has encountered a problem. ( www.truckmountforums.com ) I cant access my admincp but i can access the ftp and cpanel fine. Now i host thru www.speedihosting.net and all their emails are not working for support! something on my end? Thx for any advice to a newb hehe :)

It would help to post the db error msg with full details, that way we can better help you.
I peeked and this is something server side: mysql_pconnect() [<a href='function.mysql-pconnect'>function.mysql-pconnect</a>]: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client You need a mysql upgrade. You can try to use phpmyadmin and reset your password, try updating the privledges and also try to flush the privledges, if not you will need a upgrade as there is a mis match some place. Most likely the msqlclient lib file is mis matched with the mysql version installed |
