Put new members in a specific usergroup?

then i think the default should be users awaiting email confirmation to registered users. If you edit that and select the target usergroup as new members that should do it.

you'll then need to add a new promotion to move the new users to registered users.

Thanks. I tried that and signed up as a new member but it still threw me in the registered users. HMMMM. weird. I thought there would be aplace in the options under "user registration options" were you can choose where to put new members. But theres not.
