I followed all the install and edits to the "T" for "Ucash & Ushop". After I uploded the edited files, I tried to access my vbulletin control panel and got this error:

Parse error: parse error in /home/www/lsmba/forum/includes/functions.php on line 2025

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: vbsetcookie() in /home/www/lsmba/forum/includes/sessions.php on line 88

Can someone please help out...I'm stuck at this point.

Thanks,

lsmba

I am Using Dreamweaver...
Try using another editor like Wordpad, or EditPad Lite, and redoing the modifications to your global.php and functions.php files :)

Dreamweaver has some nasty habbits.

I baked up the files I edited before doing the edits...so should I upload the files prior to editing and start the edit over with word pad?

Thanks

Yes, most of the time dreamweaver behaves itself, there is by default in the older versions a setting which changes some code because it thinks its helping you.

functions.php was saved in unix format text and I think dreamweaver saves it in a windows format text which where the issues come from. There is a way to get dreamweaver to recongnize and save the files in unix format but I dont know what it is offhand.

IIRC it is because functions.php prints out some debug HTML and Dreamweaver will edit the HTML in a way causing a parse error

Arg, I'm having the exact same problem here, with DW and functions.php. Followed Zachery's advice about Wordpad, but still have the same problem. Help? :ermm:

Did you start your wordpad edit with fresh files?

Yes I did. :(

A friend of mine came to my rescue. :D functions.php works fine now.
