Hm..the fla is 2,3 mb so to big for an attachment i guess. You can download the original file at www.flashkit.com and i can later upload a stripped fla with only the submitscore button in it, so you can copy the keyframe and paste it in the original fla.

you can upload up to a 1 meg attachment joecool, so it's probably your connection or something. Nuclion, you could upload the fla to your site, then give everyone the URL and they could just right click, save target as. That would work.

I've already changed the Cover so all you have to do is go to the library in flash and search for 'Other' and choose 'Cover' to edit. Replace the image with your own and you've custom cards. ;)

BTW fellas, while searching google I found an awesome pinball game that would work with the arcade.. I sent the webmaster an email to ask his permission to modify it and post it here, so right now I'm just waiting for his reply.. I promised to put a link to his site within the game if he agrees to let me modify it. So hopefully he'll give me permission. :D

I totally forgot to fix the little bug in Alien Invasion (that the score didn't save if you saved the earth) well, thats fixed in this version ;) so if you actully want this game this is the version to use :)

Hmm.. Slight problem with solitaire.. If you click "deal" before the swf has fully loaded it will be messed up (cards missing, etc).. Since this is a fairly large .swf file it needs a loading screen to allow time for everything to load. I'm not really sure how to add something like that but I doubt it would be too difficult?

This is actully a pretty good game, you can even play it with a friend (on the same comp) but only player1's score will be saved tho, and please note: you have more then 1 life, so you're score wont be submitted until all of you're life are gone ;)

btw you will get more and more score for every level/life so the final score is much higher then the score you have when you died the last time (becaus the score start from 0 when you finnich a level/die) and it's the final (total) score that get saved ;)

*sigh* man i wish i knew where to find the fla for this one basketball game, it's 3D and gots great graphics and stuff, it'd be the best game for arcade yet IMO. Too bad i only have the swf.

Ultimate: I wouldn't say it takes a load, depends how often your members use it and such, and how many games you have, how many members, etc. I suggest not installing it if you don't have very much bandwidth a month to give up. And yes, you do have to upload all the games to your host, at least I think so.

Great Evils1 :) I've removed the fla from the server. The slots game and this poker game (roulette also ofcourse) are exellent to work in conjunction with the store hack from lesanne. If it can put scores in the arcade, why not in the storep? The only difficulty i guess is decrease the points by losing.

That Poker2.swf has a bug in it. You can change the Credits: to any number you want. Go try it :P

The highest number it will record on the scoreboard is ~2.1bil

You cant edit the number for bets tho, but that would be a good adition, 5 by 5 is way to slow. I was at $35,000 gains until I found out the bug :P

Thx alot EvilLS1 and NuclioN for that poker game, i love it :) One question tho, could you "EvilLS1" add some more bet buttons, like: 10.000, 50.000 and 100.000 or replace 5, 25 and 50 with those other? i never use them anyway :P and it's getting really anoying to press the 1.000 button all those times when you have over 1 million to bid with ;) or even better, add a bet all button, that would really rock my world :)

I actully didnt know that this game only had 1 level when i modify it.... but now it's done so here is a little bug fix version (if someone really wanna use it) so the score will get saved if you beat the 1 and only (simple) level. And i also used a translator to get the english text (i used the same opne for the other game i released) thats why everything is a bit messed up, so if anyone really wanna use this game (it is fun, but way to short and easy) then feel free to tell me what i need to change in the text.

The poker game works fine but their is one problem, the max score is 2,147,483,647, lmao. I had 574 billion and some couple hundred. And it put that as the score, it's probably something in the arcade though or something :( I was so happy about the score, lmao. I was like "OH YEA!" lmao.

you're still asking in the wrong thread, this thread is about Games Development not about the hack itself. I saw someone in the hack thread of vb pro arcade that had the same problem as you when he played on hes server computer, so that might be you're problem. Why not make the query yourself? All you'd have to do is take one of the queries from another game & change a few obvious things within the query like the gamename, description, score variable, etc. Leave out the gif images and just add them in the "modify games" cp. Just a suggestion. :)

Here's a fix for of the 1st poker game.

To fix the problem with the ridiculously high scores I have changed the pay out for the hands.

In this version, a pair only pays 1:1. In other words, you win nothing and you lose nothing. Everything else pays lower aswell.

So this will make it more challenging to get a winning hand and also solve the problem with the insane scores.

Just replace the other poker.swf with this one. If you already have the very high scores from the old version in your database, you'll need to either manually delete them via phpmyadmin, or change the game identifier to something else and reinstall the game with a slightly different name (Poker II etc).

The old poker with the really high scores has a score limit of 2.1bil. Eventually all your members will have the same score if you use that version. So you really should use one of the two that I posted today. :)

Do you have phpMyAdmin? If so, just go to the arcade scores table and delete the high scores for the game. Or you could use a query to delete them all at once.

If you don't have phpMyAdmin, then just delete the old version (the whole game) and add the new one but use a different name & identifier.

Opensource Flash games are extremly hard to find, the most of them are ripped work (swf) on huge gamesites without a database highscore, or the development from a couple of designers that work for casino's etc.

If we could just put this code in the right place in a swf file, then hundreds of games will emerge. :)

Great job Evils1 :) There are graphical better blackjack games around but only as swf, i've found some nice ones. Now, there is a program called swf scanner that can give an overview on how the swf is build on wich layer etc. It strips the sounds, graphics and actionscripts but you can not add something, only (and this is the most difficult part) try to rebuild the same game from scratch with the box of loose parts you find.

It will only lock up if the double uses all of your remaining money and you lose..Its supposed to say game over, set your money to 0, & bring up a new game button.. I'll try to fix that tonight.

I fixed the bug with the "double down" feature in blackjack and also added better buttons. The original post has been updated. Clear your browser cache and download it again for the new version.

The problem was that if you clicked the "double" button and did not have enough money remaining to cover the doubled bet it would just lock up. Now if you don't have enough money to cover the double, the button simply won't do anything. Otherwise it will work as intended.

The submit button is not there after every time, it would be nice to be able to submit you're score whenever you want ;)

Look at tshe post where i added the file, i added the templates there too (replace those with the one lyou have now) and you wont see any mini score boards or the first place score (at the acade main page) you will still be able to see you're score on the top25+ list tho ;) and you will still be able to save all you're score :)

It's worth it, trust me ;)

anyway, i'm using a heavy modiyed version of those templates, but i think the original looked like that anyway ;) (not 100% sure tho)

yes there is a version where leo is gone, and i dont really wanna release my modifyed template, it wouldn't look good on anyones site but my own anyway. If you dont like the look of it, modify it yourself ;)

The slot game is open source so anything is possible, i must only find out to modify it on the right place. Slot games are nice but as you can imagine the fla's are rare on the web, almost impossible to find. The only reasonable option is to learn flash tutorials and then make them yourself. A little help is ASV (action script viewer) wich strip the whole swf on layers to show what is where in the original. Hard to see though and you can not replace or modify, just rebuilding from scratch.

In flash there is the Loadmovie command. If you have swf 1 (part with the highscore submit button) you can load swf 2 (the game)on level 1. Now...if you load a game and it's scorevariable is known, can you use the arcadescript to use the highscore by submit it with a button in the movie on the 0 level?

the game concept is good however whats the point if u can't die
theres no reason to get high score :disappointed:

i did read in an earlier post u can die when theres no moves left
but that takes too long and makes getting a high score less exciting

Eggs doesn't load up for me in the arcade...

It loads up the beginning part and then freezes when the chickens and mice are meant to appear

Quick note:

I know that will all the games being installed, the query count with the mini scoreboards is a huge issue.

Look for Beta 2.1 to be uploaded some time in the next two days that will fix this. I have converted it all to one monster query and a whole bunch of PHP to sort out the scores. I am just testing it now on the three test sites.

The new Beta will also address a few other minor issues, but will not add any new features. You should be able to upgrade just by replacing your proarcade.php and proarcadeadmin.php.

A time limit per level might be nice, however the game does end when you are unable to move any pieces...

The game does take a long while to play, and it would be nice if there was a "give up" button becuase sometimes you just don't feel like playing anymore...

I'm thinking of doing a clean install with the beta 2.0 arcade, should I wait for beta 2.1 to come out first? aka general eta? Or do you need someone to help test 2.1? While I'm at it :) :)

Example of a heavy modified slotx, changed fruit into mini avatars of forumsurfers and the 300 score will trigger a loadmovie. Credits 200 and each click cost 25 points. Lots of work but they love it. :)

Pixel, go ahead and install the one available now, according to Futureal you'll just need to replace proarcade and adminproarcade to making the upgrade, at least we hope so, lol. I don't want to have to install it all again :p

Joecool, nope. Doesn't save the score after it finishes, it just says the end, lmao. But 666 is the top score no matter what, and that happens after beating the demons, so if you want you can make it save afterwards, otherwise people will just have to lose at 666 to have the top score :p
