Great mod! It installed fine and everything is working great. The only thing I noticed is a slight increase is page load time after I installed this. I do have vbexperience installed as well, not sure if that's bogging it down a little? I am running my site on a dedicated VPS and I already performed multiple vbulletin speed increase tricks too. Is it the mod itself that uses a lot of resources? Thank you in advance for any help/advice

Update:

I fixed the above problem by installing on an account that is PRIMARY administrator. However, when I go to edit USERGROUP settings, half the settings are MISSING. I get:

The response I received there was not fruitful. I COMPLETELY uninsulated and reinstalled the mod, and I am still not seeing all of the options that should appear in the Usergroup options. The first two are still missing as I indicated above.

In addition, I found something else- no shop image appears in the first shop until I install a second shop, then both appear.

Any assistance, especially on the missing options problem, would be greatly appreciated.

I can give points using this mod by going into their usermask, but, I want them to be able to redeem the points for REAL gifts, like a hat or t-shirt with the site logo on it, etc.

I think this is a good mod, but needs to be adjusted so people can buy REAL prizes instead of things on the web site like a new name. Most of my users would not be very excited with those prizes- people want REAL prizes for their efforts. Especially if they write up a project or article for the site.

The reason why we decided to separate the two is because the added complexity of supporting real-world items would have made the mod way too complex.

We can offer a lottery..

But as admin we have no way to see who won?
We still have to do manual payouts?

As admin we cannot see any stats.. ie how many tickets sold..

Thanks for the reply. I'm confused what this means exactly. I've already setup the default shop points to use the vbCredits. I'm trying to add the USD as my first Real World Currency when I get that message. What do I need to do first before adding the real world currency? Also, in the conversion rate field, should this indicate the conversion rate for points? For example, I'm trying to set it so that 1000 points equals $1 USD.


EDIT: Please disregard, apparently in all my previous attempts I just overlooked the checkbox for Primary Currency. It's setup now.

New issue. I have everything setup and I have items that can be purchased using either vbCredits or the Real World Currency. Is there any way to add an item that would allow a person to purchase points/credits using real world currency? For example, I'd like to allow someone to pay $1 USD to gain a set amount of points that can then be traded/transferred and so on.

I'd like for the center to be wider by moving either the sidebar to the left under the overview block, or the overview block to the right. How would I go about doing that? I know these forums are fairly inactive anymore but thought I'd ask this here anyway just in case. I'm using the vbShop as a makeshift ecommerce of sorts by using the custom item with custom fields for name and address. So far everything is working well but I have one last thing I'd like to change and am having trouble. Does anyone know how I might include the shop image in the purchase or config PM? I tried modifying the items/custom.php but it just spits out the code as is instead of rendering the HTML. I've included a small screenshot as an example. I'd appreciate any assistance with this.
