I have one forum from which I'd like to delete all the attachments from all threads. Does anyone know how I could go about this. Maybe by a sql command?

Thanks

Can anyone help me with this or will I need to go through and delete attachments from each thread one by one?

A trick that might work is the following:
- Select all threads in the forum
- Soft Delete them, choosing NOT to keep attachments
- Undelete the threads

Thanks for the reply Marco.

That might be the best way to go about it, but I guess I'd still have to do it page by page then wouldn't I? Still better than thread by thread... but there are over 1500 of them.

Set your forum (temporarily) to show 500 threads on page, use the small down-arrow in the top of the thread listing of the forum to select all threads, perform actions. Only 3 pages, shouldn't take more then a few minutes.

Hehe, glad that worked, sometimes a bit of thinking outside of the box can do the trick and you don't need a modification.
