I have one forum from which I'd like to delete all the attachments from all threads. Does anyone know how I could go about this. Maybe by a sql command?
Thanks Clancy |

Can anyone help me with this or will I need to go through and delete attachments from each thread one by one?

A trick that might work is the following:
- Select all threads in the forum - Soft Delete them, choosing NOT to keep attachments - Undelete the threads |

Thanks for the reply Marco.
That might be the best way to go about it, but I guess I'd still have to do it page by page then wouldn't I? Still better than thread by thread... but there are over 1500 of them. Clancy |

Set your forum (temporarily) to show 500 threads on page, use the small down-arrow in the top of the thread listing of the forum to select all threads, perform actions. Only 3 pages, shouldn't take more then a few minutes.

Hehe, glad that worked, sometimes a bit of thinking outside of the box can do the trick and you don't need a modification.
