This will not take long at all.

In the meantime, i really haven't seen an error that everyone agrees on.

The "this file does not exist" error, is not something on our side. It's most likely you not uploading the files or something wrong with server i guess.

The error on step 9 problem will be looked into.

Uhh. My suggestion would be to revert the navbar. Although that would screw up hack you already have.

Beta 3 worked pretty good for me on both my test board as well as my live one.

I DID have to re-import(Thru the ACP/Manage Products/Import) the /installer/hacks/ucs/product_ucs.xml and overwite what the install process did, and afterwards, things commenced to work fine..

The yellow things are called "directories" or "folders" :) within each, there is code.

It sure looks like you are missing some of the code. Also, your nav bar is showing the same behaviour it does before re-importing the product_ucs.xml thru the admin control panel, Manage Products, Import Product. BE SURE to check the little box that allows overwrite for the product, or it will not work.

For each folder name (the yellow things) there is code that must be plced in the same named fodlers (yellow things) on your server where you run your forum from. Be careful to go thru each folder in the downloaded hack, and move all parts to your server. If there is a folder in the down loaded hack that does not exist on your server, it means you need to upload that folder to your server within the directory they have it in. Then, make sure your execution permissions are correct on al the new files you have uploaded.

More than likely (and I have paid in blood for things like this) some hack or the custom skin has redone your nav bar and displaced the code hook they are telling you to look for. What you are going to have to do is print out a copy of the navbar template (select it all in a text window, right click, copy, and dump it to a text file), and then find the location you need to drop that code in..

If the person who wrote your custom skin is about, I'd ask them for an assist.

it means that table is already there in your database. you need to drop that table.

You might want to look and see if you have any other ushop tables in your database. before you move on installing it again and remove those then install again

Something seems to be wrong...I installed it and for some reason points arent being displayed on the uCash main page (even if i do an admin donate), points arent being distributed how they should be like for instance if someone posts a thread or something they arent getting the points, there is no buy option just view sale history for each item. I dont understand waht could be wrong I just did a fresh install of it.

Welp, what can I say... I'm one of the firsts to install the store and I had problems. It's working fine now, but there's still a number of bugs. For example:

Bank has no interest. Maybe it has, I just haven't found it.
Who's Online doesn't how what action they're viewing. Just says "Viewing Aciont:".

And other countless issuse. Well, now I'm planning on giving eBux / eStore a chance. But I gotta check what my members think first.

The HTML of the USHOP template really needs to be cleaned up. The little tables that the actions appear in are way too small, and the page is cutting off my footer too early.

This one in Ushop settings is strange here in my forum;

Loyal Member Discount Amount?
Set this to the amount off items members recieve when they have been registered at least the number of days defined above. Set this to 0 to disable (or a negative to add cost, but why would you want to do that?).

If I set 10 or 1000 on this the cost I explained above is on 189.000, but if I set it on 100 the cost is 0! Jeg have choise the cost to be 20.000!
If I set 0 everething is right, but I think this one might be a bug?

i see that the history box only keeps track of the points that i've donated to others, but not the points i've received from others. guess that's because it only keeps track of the transactions that i've made thru ushop.

but i think it will still be useful to record both transactions: points received and points donated.

I had ushop 0.95 on my vb3.0.x...

Now i have upgarded to vb3.5.3.. and want to install ushop with all old data..
But since, i havent installed Ucash 1.1.0, it says...

You have uShop 0.95 installed, but not uCash 1.1.0, upgrade will not proceed.
You need to install uCash 1.1.0 or uninstall uShop 0.95.

Are you setting it at 20.000 or 20,000. When you put in the number just make sure you don't put in number format. It will do that for you. Put it in like "20000.00"

The negative point fix is in there as well. http://www.yoursite.com/admincp/ucash_admin.php?do=fixnegative You can fix the negatives there then retry the number again.

I think that Revan and the staff will have another beta release available soon. With the major issue being the installation procedure they are going to have to work on a stronger QA system to review it. But I think all goes well after Revan's return then we can see another Beta release sometime next month and alot of addons to follow.

The problem is that they forgot to put a # in front, so the browser guesses the color, incorrectly. I don't see where in the user management that this color is, could you be more specific?

upload the .xml file thats in the installers directory (or one of the sub directorys)

Any time I try and use an action that deals with another user, it doesn't work.

For example...

Which is what i have been trying to say for a while. It is impossible for two people using the same hack to have different functionability as far as i know. However, i will continue to look into this.

My Next Suggestion is strongly not recommended if you are not well versed in MySQL or do not have PHPmyAdmin. Use at your own risk.

I suggest you go into the Database and search the user for the username's account information and into it and only put the # before the HEX Color. This is a quick fix. Also Go into the uShop Manager and go to the Colored Username and change the description to this.

With this, you can pick a color that'll color your username in your posts any color you'd like! Remember to do this in Hex Code or you will be wasting your points. I.E. #FF0000 = Red.

Maybe you should check for the existance of those columns before dropping them on the uninstaller, its a good programming habit, or any sql error stops everything.

Another thing i noted is.. those who had color effects/glow before upgrade...those have it perfectly restored.. but new purchases are not working!

May I say...you have a buttload of template errors there sonny. It's not passing alot of variables to the fields. I am going to use my localhost to see I am pretty sure these are just giant upgrade errors with it altering the user table alil bit or so.

Also on your earlier one I think you might need to take a look at your user table to see if the points and bank options are still there. Did you happen to change the uCash options that tell it where to find that field?

I had used the installer and it failed from step 9 to 10..saying error in upgrade..
Rest all steps went perfectly...

Regarding Ucash settings.. i havent changed anyfields or stuff.. I just plainly installed it so as to install Ushop 2.0 BETA..and upgrade my Ushop 0.95 based on vb3.0.x....to vb3.5.3

I thought I saw something off about your user table. All of the uCash stuff is seperated. So it's a database error. It doesn't know where to find the points at. Check the user table on mine. I rebuilt mine manually because of the 9 and 10 errors. I have a list of the errors on that somewhere in this long thread. XD I am looking into the template stuff. Also I installed on a localhost with PHP5 and MySQL 4.4 and it went in with no errors at all. Talk about odd.

1. Reporting. We need reports on what has been purchased and a full report on the admin donate. Is this type of information available?

2. Deleting a thread removes points. This is important because users are charged to use a certain forum and if they do not have enough points we will delete their thread and we want the points added back. So if we subtract a negative number it should add points and if we subtract positive point for other threads that they gert points for poting n it will remove points. I hope I am making sense.

I think I got it now, I needed to run the xml script. That is burried in there and it's not clear that you need to run it, it also overwrites the normal install.

It appears that the phrases are missing, when I go into any of the Change Username, Glow etc. they all come up to a page with missing phrases.

It seems this has intefered with the usergroup html markup on my forums. Our Mods are displayed in bold and the admins bold and italics. Well only some admins appear in bold now and only some mods in bold.

There seems to be a problem with the history of changing another user's avatar. It doesn't show WHO initiated the change. It only shows the name of the user who had it done to them.

Here is a screenshot. Notice the "User" and the "To User" are the same. The "User" is incorrect.

I think there is a bug in the "bank".

when you charge 0 to deposit, for some reason the user gets a $100 for just depositing in the bank. either this is a bug or it is something that i am not familiar with.

Does anyone know how to view total ucash distributed? I am having a hard time figuring this out.

First off check the profile/memberinfo edits. Purchase History is spelled wrong! :p

Secondly, any ideas what is wrong with the HTML mark up. It works for whoisonline but not posts for certain members.

Third, if i reinstall the store to restore some functions i deleted like buying forums permisions,bold names and such, will any money be lost?

Last, any ideas when beta 4 or stable will be released?

You have uShop 0.95 installed, but not uCash 1.1.0, upgrade will not proceed.
You need to install uCash 1.1.0 or uninstall uShop 0.95.

If I'm a register user and I sent a post, after I sent the post it's says to me to wait 30 seconds between the post?
So in this time I send again and again for it will send the post, but instead of send it, its update my points.

^ i don't get what you're trying to say... but...

you "have" to wait a few second between each post. this is vbulletin setting. you can change this in your acpanel.

and your points "will" update or will be added when you submit a post. it update when you send/sumbit a post. that's the point of the "Point" system...

I'm having a problem here. We had this program installed previously but some stuff wasn't working so we uninstalled it and attempted to reinstall and now it won't work properly.

I download UCash 1.1.1 since its the only version I can find, upload all files and then install the Product (.xml file).

I download UShop & UCash 2.0 beta 3 and upload all its files. I try to install and when I get to Step 10/10 I get "Error In Upgrade."

I check the Ushop.php file and get this MySQL error:

I have had a number of problems with this hack. I ran the installer and modified the templates but things are either outright missing or not working:

1) In the postbit display it shows:
Posts: 1000 | Points: (Donate)

It will not display the points.

2) This same problem exists in the UShop where it'll show the Avatar but Points and Bank are both blank. However, the richest users box shows users with points.

3) There are no links at all. Nowhere. The only way to get to any buy dialogue is to click on "Most Sold" and then you can click on the list of links.

I think this hack would do very well on my forum but I don't know how to fix this problem. Because the hack had an installer I don't know if everything worked properly or if something broke along the way. If I had installed it manually I could go and double check all the steps but I'm not sure what the installer did. When I try to run it now it says that Ushop is already installed.

There is a bug in Ucash for v3.5.
The bug is:
If I'm a register user and I sent a post, after I sent the post it's says to me to wait 30 seconds between the post?
So in this time I send again and again for it will send the post, but instead of send it, its update my points.

How can I fix it?

I've got a new problem. Theif function fails everytime any user trys to use it. I uploaded a fresh copy of the action.theif.php file, but it didn't make a difference. Any idea?

Is there a way to add tangable items to ushop. Where once they purchase with points the will be sent to a form to fill out shipping info? I cannot find one that actually works.

Also I want to add an item that when they purchase they will be emailed the item, like an ebook or information in the email. Is this possible?

I dont know if this is reported or not..
But when someone uses change other users custom avatar...
First of all it deducts points from the target users account instead of the one who changes...
Secondly, in the purchase list.. both changer & to user lists the name of target user only!
Thirdly...the target's avatar is never changed..instead the avatar is changed, who tried to change other users avatar...
All in all ... a complete mess!

I'm using uShop Hack Version 0.95 right now for 3.07 and I'm upgrading to 3.5...Will I be able to use this hack and have all the data transferred?

Also, I'm not sure if I have uCash 1.1.0. Where can I check this at, and If I don't have it, where could I download it from? Can't seem to find it on the forums.

I have been using vbulletin for over a year now, n everytime i come to VBulletin.org i see this thread, and think what does it do. I have never asked....

so here i am.... what is uCash and uShop? What can they be used for? How does it work? Do people buy real life things? Whos sells them? the users?

I have had a number of problems with this hack. I ran the installer and modified the templates but things are either outright missing or not working:

1) In the postbit display it shows:


It will not display the points.

2) This same problem exists in the UShop where it'll show the Avatar but Points and Bank are both blank. However, the richest users box shows users with points.

3) There are no links at all. Nowhere. The only way to get to any buy dialogue is to click on "Most Sold" and then you can click on the list of links.

4) None of the actions actually work. Clicking on any of the actions [b]except Bank results in a new page with a blank box. That's it.

5) You can't actually deposit anything in the bank because it says you don't have any points. See point 2), UShop says that users have points but it seems they do not :confused:

6) The Uncatagorized catagory is missing

7) The navbar only has 5 options

I think this hack would do very well on my forum but I don't know how to fix this problem. Because the hack had an installer I don't know if everything worked properly or if something broke along the way. If I had installed it manually I could go and double check all the steps but I'm not sure what the installer did. When I try to run it now it says that Ushop is already installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

mine just started working, but some have flaws to them (Glowing username ends up glowing the points,donate, etc...) And the Midi in profile doesn't work.
