I've seen lots of hacks that are close to doing what I need, but not exactly. I need one that basically will let you chose if the sub-forum shows on the parents page or not. Not just for the main page, but for all levels.
Here's my need rundown: I run an Automotive forum. I have forums for each generation of car, 1st Gen, 2nd Gen, etc. Now under those I have a subforum called Archives. In the archive I save all the good technical threads. I want to have under the Archives a bunch of sub-forums that break down all the threads into categories - like engine problems, transmission problems, etc. But I don't want the Archive sub-forums to show in the 2nd Gen page for example. But when you click on Archives, you get the full listing of sub-forums. Somebody, PLEASE write something that will do this. If you ask me, it should be something included with the next vB release. Would be very useful. Thanks, Ryan |

So what would it take to get somebody to take this hack on? I'm really needing it ...
