login hook

is there some hook witch provide me to check another user base before it check it in vbulletin base? (i need it to synk vbulletin with ldap).

Ok, im using login_verify_failure_username hook. But i need not hashed password to check some info. But vb_login_password is allways empty, only md5hash...

It is hashed before it even makes it to the php. You have to alter the login template

Ok, im made it by defining DISABLE_PASSWORD_CLEARING constant in global_start plugin
Finaly im made ldap auth

I'm trying to do something similar in global_start hook...how did you define it to work? like this?

$DISABLE_PASSWORD_CLEARING = 1;

or is there a need to make it a "global variable"? Many thanks...
